Each preset comes with 8 carefully designed macros, giving you hands-on control over tone, character, and layering. Switch styles, activate alternate effects, introduce hidden layers, and shape the sound instantly—no deep sound design knowledge required.
Built from the ground up
We created custom wavetables exclusively for LAYERS, crafted to deliver the clean, buzzy, and rich tones modern EDM leads demand. On top of that, we sampled select hardware synths known for their iconic lead sounds to expand the sonic palette even further.
Real hardware, captured
Using Serum 2’s new multisample oscillator, we brought true analog character into the presets by sampling hardware synths directly. We also built our own signature lead stacks, packing anywhere from 4 to 8 layered leads into a single oscillator for instant size and presence.
