The inspiration behind Tortured Flutes stems from Alessandro Romeo’s exploration of bamboo flutes in the digital domain. By performing two flutes simultaneously, he captured a powerful harmonic identity and dynamic movement. These recordings were then layered, stretched, and transformed to create a deeply atmospheric and haunting sonic palette.
