I’ll admit, finishing an F9 pack always comes with a bit of pressure. Our users have high expectations, and with F9 iFunk Volume II, I’m proud to say we’ve exceeded them. Drawing from the lessons of F9 iFunk Volume I, we’ve built a pack that excels in usability, navigation, flexibility, and, of course, pure funk.

Working on the demos and additional walkthrough tracks for this volume was an absolute joy. No matter the direction we took musically, F9 iFunk II consistently delivered inspiration, groove, and energy.

And, as with all F9 packs, we didn’t stop there. Every edition includes all the stems, loops, hits, and MIDI from the audio demos you can hear on SoundCloud — giving you complete access to the building blocks of each track.

Having worked with Robin Boult for years, I can honestly say his precision, creativity, and micro-melody ideas never fail to amaze. In this pack, we designed the loops to straddle chord changes, making them flexible for countless production scenarios. Robin’s funky wah guitar adds a new layer of expression, giving you even more ways to craft unique parts.

Tempo-locking across multiple software samplers was a major design focus. Every loop is ready to drop into your DAW without extra tweaking, making this library a versatile solution for producers on any platform.

Kontakt 6.7+ Library

Our Kontakt instruments are a highlight in any F9 release. Each loop is tempo-locked via Kontakt’s Time Machine Pro, giving you flexibility and precision. Loops are mapped one per key starting at C1, allowing you to trigger, test, and experiment seamlessly.

Kontakt’s advanced time-stretching keeps loops in perfect sync with your project, and each loop is bar-aligned for easy placement. We’ve also integrated effects like ping-pong delay, three IR reverbs, chorus, phaser, EQ modeled after a classic British desk, and a feedback compressor for extra character.

Halion Sonic 7 Library

We’ve expanded support for HALion Sonic 7, a free VST sampler compatible with all DAWs (Audio Units, VST, AAX). Like the Kontakt instruments, these patches are tempo-locked and track project tempo in real time.

HALion Sonic patches include internal effects like phaser and unison, allowing you to emulate double-tracking and shape your guitar sound with ease.
