Reid, Babyface, and other pioneers of New Jack Swing, synth-pop, R&B, and hip-hop–adjacent sounds, this pack captures the unmistakable attitude and impact of the time.

Every sound was recorded, mixed, and designed using a hybrid of vintage drum machines and live drum kits, then sculpted through iconic analog and digital studio staples including the AMS RMX, Lexicon 480, and an SSL 4056 G/G+ console. The result is unmistakable depth, glue, and punch that feels both timeless and powerful.
Bianca C. Richardson is an Orange County, California–based drummer, producer, and live/session musician with credits across major labels such as Atlantic Records, Sony, and Republic Records. Her work includes recording, touring, and collaborations with artists like Justin Bieber, H.E.R., Willow Smith, Justin Skye, Conan Gray, K. Michelle, Madison Beer, Diana Gordon, Moonchild, Cory Wong, Genevieve Artadi (Knower), and Marcus Miller, with appearances in Netflix productions All American and Shirley (starring Regina King).
