When recording these loops we took the same approach as in the Vintage Breaks titles. A wide range of tried and tested recording techniques were explored, using different rooms, classic vintage mics, preamps, compressors and cymbals to create a range of sonic colours: from organic retro to tight and modern.
The result? Smooth, crispy hat lines at a range of tempos recorded with enough character to instantly start the groove but with all production options left open for you to use how you wish. Pan them, EQ them, effect them and sculpt them until they fit your mix.
