Iftah Generators v1.1 ALP
Generators is a pair of MIDI tools designed to sit directly in the Clip View of a MIDI track, allowing you to quickly generate musical ideas and rhythmic patterns.
Patterns
Patterns is an algorithmic drum pattern generator featuring dedicated generation algorithms for each of its six drum voices.
Each voice has its own set of controls, allowing you to decide which voices are generated and which MIDI note each pattern is assigned to. The Voice toggle determines whether an instrument-specific pattern will be created when you click Generate, while the MIDI Note setting defines the pitch used for the generated pattern.
Sting
Sting is an expressive, improvisational acid line performance tool that generates 16-step, musically cohesive patterns.
Think of it as a 3D pattern generator with streamlined controls: one dial for note selection and another for dynamic expression. In total, Sting can create up to 256 unique pattern combinations, varying pitch, velocity, and note length—all shaped directly by the user.
Additional controls allow for deeper shaping of the sequence. The Type dial morphs patterns from more random note selections to classic acid-style sequences. Root sets the base note of the pattern, while Transpose shifts the entire sequence up or down. Rate determines the beat division of the generated pattern, and Density controls how busy or sparse the sequence becomes.
