These sounds are instantly nostalgic, yet they still work just as well today. They’re the drums, textures, and synths that shaped pop, hip-hop, and R&B as we know it — and we wanted to put them directly in your hands. Y2K draws heavy inspiration from the records of the late ’90s and early 2000s, blending that classic feel with a clean, modern edge. You’ll hear influences from legendary producers like Max Martin, Pharrell, Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Jermaine Dupri, and other all-time greats.

The pack includes 511 individual one-shot samples, covering drums, percussion, FX, and synth shots. Every sound was either built from the ground up or carefully sampled from vintage gear used throughout the ’90s and early 2000s, then mixed, layered, and polished to feel modern while staying true to the original vibe. On top of that, we’ve included 105 custom Vital presets (for the free version of Vital), inspired by classic synths and romplers from the Y2K era.
