Moment Engine Rumble, a Brodinski moment WAV
Few artists have bridged the worlds of underground electronic music and modern rap as seamlessly as Brodinski. The influential French DJ, producer, and label founder has spent over a decade shaping club culture on both sides of the Atlantic. As a key resident at Paris’ legendary Social Club during the late 2000s, he stood at the heart of a movement that helped launch artists such as DJ Mehdi and Gesaffelstein, while his imprint, Bromance Records, introduced groundbreaking talent including Louisahhh, Danny Brown, and Kaytranada to a global audience.
His production work on Kanye West’s Yeezus and his critically acclaimed debut album Brava helped forge a new connection between techno and hip-hop, establishing Brodinski as a pioneer of genre-defying music. Today, dividing his time between Paris and Atlanta, he continues to collaborate with artists such as Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Lil Reek, and Slimesito while pushing the boundaries of contemporary rap and electronic music.
Engine Rumble marks Brodinski’s first-ever sample pack—a project years in the making.
“I’ve been thinking about creating a sample pack for a long time, but I wanted to do it right.”
Inspired by a lifelong fascination with gas stations, motorcycles, engines, and mechanical noise, Engine Rumble is a collection built around raw power, industrial textures, and relentless energy. Inside you’ll find destructive 808s, aggressive hi-hat patterns, distorted percussion, deconstructed techno elements, and cinematic sound design pushed to their absolute limits.
Every sound is crafted to feel loud, dangerous, and larger than life. Toxic trap influences collide with underground techno aesthetics, resulting in a toolkit designed for producers who want to create music that feels futuristic, unpredictable, and impossible to ignore.
Many of the sounds began as everyday field recordings captured on a phone before being manipulated, stretched, processed, and transformed into entirely new sonic worlds. The result is a collection that blurs the line between reality and sound design, delivering textures that feel both familiar and alien.
“I’ve always made music with the future in mind, and I hope this pack captures that feeling. Some sounds started as small moments recorded on my phone before being transformed into something from another dimension. This pack is designed to shock your listeners—give it a try.” — Brodinski
