Bristol bass wizard Lurka returns to Rubicon with a collection of analog sound design, summoning the souls of his machines to bring noisy, overdriven circuitry to the forefront. Scorched sequences and smudged techno result, showing range from the producer’s first offering on Rubicon, ‘Factory Percussion.’ Rubbery, metallic, elastic and wonky, Machine Funk is giving dancefloor weirdness for the freaks and the heads.
