Monochrome was created as a premium sound effects library for composers, sound designers, and experimentalists seeking a bold fusion of raw electronic character and cinematic trailer sound design. The result is a modern collection of sonic tools that feels both powerful and unconventional.
The library features heavily processed ambient field recordings, short and extended build-ups, transition effects, hits and slams, abstract foley, an extensive range of risers, cinematic kicks, and hyper-detailed impacts. Found sounds are performed in real time, then meticulously chopped, shaped, and transformed into dynamic percussive textures.
Monochrome is simultaneously alluring and disorienting. Its experimental aesthetic blends long, dissonant, and amorphous echoes pushed beyond recognition with intimate atmospheres, a distinctive sonic identity, and moments of intense emotional impact.
This collection is a collaboration between SampleTraxx and French sound designer Julien Caraz (Off The Grid).
