Part of Strezov Sampling’s acclaimed The Performers series, this library focuses on virtuosic performances that go far beyond the limitations of traditional multisampled instruments. Featuring over 60 expertly recorded vocal phrases, Anna delivers a rich palette of expressive melodies, ornaments, and vocal articulations rooted in the unique traditions of the Shopluk and Graovo folklore regions.
Recorded at Sofia Session Studio and mixed across three microphone positions—Close, Decca, and Hall—every performance captures the depth, power, and authenticity of Bulgarian folk music while remaining highly adaptable for modern productions.
To maximize flexibility, all phrases were recorded across multiple tempos and on a whole-tone scale within a single octave, allowing effortless integration into virtually any key or project. The included Kontakt engine lets users freely map, combine, edit, and customize phrases to create entirely new performances and musical ideas.
In addition to the Kontakt instrument, all performances are provided as open WAV files, giving producers complete freedom to work directly within their preferred DAW or sampler.
