Inspired by 4-track cassette recorders, SketchCassette is designed to introduce a wide array of lo-fi tape effects into your mixes. From subtle warble to unearthed-from-the-attic destruction, SketchCassette is your one-stop-shop for anything and everything cheap tape.

Technical Info:

SketchCassette supports the following formats and operating systems:

Windows 7 or later – VST3 and AAX at 64-bit
macOS 10.8 Mountain Lion through macOS 10.14 Mojave (macOS 10.15 Catalina not yet supported, coming soon) – AU, VST3, and AAX at 64-bit

Import the plugin files (.vst3, .aaxplugin, or .component) into the appropriate folder in your computer’s directory. These are as follows:

Windows:

VST3: ​C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 or the directory you have set in your DAW
AAX: ​C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins

macOS:

AU: ​Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
VST3: ​Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
AAX: ​Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins

Restart your digital audio workstation before loading in the plugin to a project. On macOS, you may need to restart your computer for new plugins to appear in some hosts.
